Child Selection Criteria

We are proud to work with various agencies in Southern Alberta. To participate, the child must:

1. Be between the ages of 8 – 12.
2. Financially, the child or family would not have the opportunity to travel at this time.
3. Be a Canadian citizen
4. Be able to enter the United States legally.
5. Be medically, mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged.
6. Have never been to Disney, Universal Studios or a similar theme park.
7. Be able to communicate orally or in sign language.
8. Be able to function in a group situation and be able to endure an extremely long day.
9. Attend the mandatory Orientation Meeting before the Day of Flight.
10. The parents of the child(ren) are NOT employees of Air Canada.

Dreams Take Flight works with a number of agencies that nominate the children. Agencies may contact our Child Coordinator at a.smith@dreamstakeflight.ca
