The 19th Annual Calgary Magical Flight departs October 19 , 2011 with 138 special kids.

Great News in Calgary
Dreams Take Flight was made the Charity of Choice for the Be a Hero Classic Golf Tournament at Stewart Creek and were presented with a cheque for $57,000 by Cardel Homes. This pays for approximately 57 of the 138 children who will experience Disneyland on October 19th for the 19th Anniversary of Dreams Take Flight Calgary.  The main fundraiser for the Calgary Chapter is on Sunday, July 10 and it is Black Tie & Blue Jeans Dance & Electronic Silent Auction, at the Calgary Westin Hotel.  Over 1,000 auction items can be viewed at www.clickbidonline.com/dreams

Dreams Take Flight director, Lucille Parkinson accepted the Calgary Citizen of the Year Award, on behalf of all our volunteers, from the city's Mayor at a City Hall ceremony held May 29, 2003. Congratulations to all of us and especially Lucille.
